Day 1

ARRIVE NEW DELHI

Upon arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport (Delhi), you will be met by an India Safaris & Tours representative and transferred the Oberoi Hotel.

Rest of the day is at leisure.

Spend two overnights at The Oberoi hotel. Accommodation is in a premium room with ensuite facilities. Your stay is on room only.

Day 2 - 4

Ananda in the Himalayas
Morning transfer to the railway station to board train to Haridwar. On arrival at Haridwar you are met and transferred to Ananda In the Himalayas.
Activities include visit to Rishikesh to view the evening ceremony at the temple.

Day 7

Delhi
Transfer to Haridwar to board the scheduled train to Delhi. On arrival you are met at the railway station and transferred to the hotel and assisted with check in formalities. DAY 2- NEW DELHI

 

Today you will go on a guided sightseeing tour to explore some historical sites and the architecture of colonial New Delhi, which a city of contrasts housing monuments of 13th & 16th centuries midst manicured boulevards and government building, designed and landscaped for the seat of British capital.

 

DAY 3-DELHI/JABLAPUR/BANDHAVGARH

 

This morning you will be assisted to your private transfer to the Delhi domestic terminal for your scheduled flight (06:55 AM/09:55AM) to Jabalpur.On arrival at Jabalpur; you will be assisted to your private road transfer to Bandhavgarh; Mahua Kothi (approximately four hours drive).

 

Spend three overnights at the CCA/Taj Safaris lodge: Mahua Kothi in Bandhavgarh. Accommodation is in a cottage with ensuite facilities. Your stay is on a full board basis including scheduled game activities.

 

 

DAY 4/5 BANDHAVGARH NATIONAL PARK

 

 

Our explorations inside the reserve will take the form of a mixture of early morning and evening jeep drives and trips on elephant back. Elephant rides cannot be guaranteed as this depends on the successful tracking of the tiger by the mahouts.

 

 

DAY 6 BANDHAVGARH /KANHA NATIONAL PARK

 

This morning you will be assisted to your private road transfer Bandhavgarh to Kanha (approximately five/six hours). On arrival at Kanha you will be transferred to the CCA/Taj Safaris Tented Camp.

                                                                                                                       

Spend three overnights at the CCA/Taj Safaris Tented Camp. Accommodation is in a deluxe tent with ensuite facilities. Your stay is on a full board basis including scheduled game activities.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

DAY 7-8 KANHA NATIONAL PARK

 

Our explorations inside the reserve will take the form of a mixture of early morning and evening jeep drives and trips on elephant back. Elephant rides cannot be guaranteed as this depends on the successful tracking of the tiger by the mahouts.

 

 

DAY 9- KANHA/JABALPUR/DELHI

 

This morning you will be assisted to your private transfer to the Jabalpur domestic terminal for your scheduled flight (10.20 AM/12:25 PM) to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi; you will be met and transferred to the Oberoi hotel.

 

Spend one overnight at The Oberoi hotel. Accommodation is in a premium room with ensuite facilities. Your stay is on room only.

 

 

DAY 10- DELHI/AGRA

 

This morning you will be assisted to the New Delhi railway station to board Air conditioned train(06 hr 15-08hr 10) .On arrival in Agra you will begin your sightseeing tour of the Taj Mahal and the Red Fort.

 

Spend one overnight at The Oberoi’s Amarvilas hotel. Accommodation is in a deluxe room with terrace with ensuite facilities. Your stay is on room only.

 

NOTE: Taj Mahal remains closed on Friday.

Check In: Amarvilas check in time is at 14:00 Hrs.

 

DAY 11- AGRA /JAIPUR

 

This morning you will have another chance to visit the Taj Mahal by sunrise. Later you will be assisted to the private road transfer (in an air conditioned car) to Jaipur (approximately 6-7 hours). Enroute you will stop at Fatehpur Sikri for your scheduled guided sightseeing tour. On arrival in Jaipur you will be transferred to the Rajvilas Hotel in Jaipur.

Spend two overnights at Raj Vilas. Accommodation is in a luxury tent with ensuite facilities. Your stay is on room only.

DAY 12- JAIPUR

 

This morning, you will go on a guided tour of the famous Amber Fort, City Palace, Palace of Winds and the Observatory in Jaipur.

 

DAY 13- JAIPUR/MUMBAI

 

This morning you will be transferred to the domestic airport to connect to flight to Mumbai. On arrival in Mumbai you will be met and transferred to the airport hotel. Late evening connect to your flight back home.

The name Baghvan draws its inspiration from one of India’s iconic symbols, the Bengal tiger (bagh – tiger and van – forest). Pronounced baagh-vun, this charming lodge is located on the edge of Pench National Park, which is a dry deciduous forest of predominantly teak trees. The twelve spacious stand alone suites have been totally rebuilt. The original guest areas remain and have been extensively renovated and enlarged, and a beautiful swimming pool added. From Baghvan to the park entrance is a mere 5-minute drive.
