CAMPS BAY BEACH

Camps Bay beach is undoubtedly the Western Cape's answer to St Tropez, and the Gold Coast

The beautiful beach is a popular haunt of the fashionistas of the world and offers spectacular views of Lion's Head and the Twelve Apostles.

Sunsets on Camps Bay beach are a real treat….and if you have had enough of beach life, the trendy restaurants and bars nearby are perfect for a delicious meal or a spectacular sundowner.

Camps Bay is a long sandy beach accessed directly from the road. Parking in summer is limited and you may need to park along one of the many sideroads.

The road behind the beach is lined with street side cafes, restaurants and a few small grocery stores making snacks and lunch easily at hand.

Kiosks and vendors also operate from the beach. Camps Bay is generally more family friendly as it is bigger and there is more space for games and sandcastles for children, and the young at heart.

Deck chairs and umbrellas are available for daily rental.
